QUICK MEASURING GUIDE

Measure one item, ready to pack

Length, width and height of a rectangular productLength follows the longer horizontal base edge. Width follows the other base edge. Height runs vertically from the bottom to the top.L · LengthW · WidthHHeight
  1. Choose its packing position. Put the item on a flat surface in the position you intend to pack it.
  2. Measure length. Measure the longer horizontal side of its base.
  3. Measure width. Measure the other horizontal side of its base, at a right angle to length.
  4. Measure height. Measure vertically from the bottom to the highest point.
  5. Include every protrusion. Include handles, caps, plugs, and any individual wrapping. Measure the outermost points without squeezing the item.

Use millimetres. Multiply centimetres by 10. For example, 18 cm = 180 mm.

Enter one item. Use the quantity field for the number of identical items. Do not measure the whole stack.

For an irregular item, measure the smallest rectangular space that contains it. This beta does not check curved shapes or nesting.

For the carton, select External for outside measurements or Internal for confirmed clear inside measurements. External minus two board thicknesses is an estimate, not a manufacturing allowance.
